Piché Associates Give Back Today!
By Piché and Associates
At Piché & Associates Real Estate we are driven by values that include giving back to our community through involvement.
Today, with over 60 other REALTORS®, our Associates helped build dressers for children whose families are moving out of homelessness. The project, sponsored by the Saint Paul Area Association of REALTORS®, benefited Bridging, a local non-profit whose mission is to “improve lives by providing quality furniture and household goods to those transitioning out of homelessness and poverty.”
If you don’t know about Bridging, you should. It is an incredible organization that helps those in need and relies solely on volunteers to provide support for their programs.
It was started 25 years ago by Fran Heitzman, a retired businessman, who was working as a custodian at his church in Eden Prairie. A woman wanted to donate a crib to the church, but it wasn’t needed. Not wanting to turn away a donated item, Fran found a home for the crib through contacts at social service organizations. Thus was born “Bridging.” Through his inspiration and dedication this organization has grown over the years and to date has served over 60,000 households.
Fran was there this morning welcoming REALTORS® and inspiring us to give back to our community. To learn more about Bridging, click on their logo.
Our thanks to John Piché, Bob Sieg and Patrick Ruble for taking the time this morning to participate. We could not have completed our dresser building without the able assistance of Meg Chiodo, Royal Credit Union and Cathy Trast, Keller Williams.
